Another successful ISPAM (International Seminar on Protected Area Management) was held at the Magruder Rangers cabin along the Selway River last weekend (Saturday through Tuesday). This seminar hosted participants from around the world to share presentations about protected areas from their respective countries and also provided a forum to learn about wilderness management, including wilderness fire management from Bitterroot National Forest employees. Retired District Ranger Dave Campbell leads a discussion on wilderness fire at Hells Half Acre Lookout.
