[Another update from Justin and Melissa Lowe about Joshua, their son. Matt H] Grace and Peace our dear friends. We have sensed that it is time for another update on Joshua and our family. Several weeks ago Joshua underwent an MRI per the request of the Neurosurgeon from Duke to see if there had been changes in regards to Joshuas neurological development. The results from the MRI showed that his diagnosis remains the same and showing no blockage between his ventricles, which means there would not be a need to shunt them. We are grateful for these results and rejoice in his developmental stability. More recently, Joshua has been battling an acute sinus infection and ear infections, which has resulted in a continued effort with our medical team to treat these. In struggling with these infections, we have found currently an antibiotic that works but has severe side effects regarding Joshuas gastrointestinal track. To provide support for Joshuas specific needs, Joshua has been admitted as an inpatient at a medical care center in Asheville, NC. We are grateful for the continued strength, manna, that God is providing us along each step in our journey. Our prayer remains the same, God, you be glorified and give us strength for the journey. We ask that you would continue to pray this prayer with us and pray for our family. Please know that we will try and provide an update as able.
