Anthony Pomponio, 85kg lifter with PRs of 150/182kg, shows you how to execute the snatch press from the hole... The snatch press in the hole is a great exercise to help maintain a nice tight bottom position in the snatch. Make sure your feet are in the catch position, Key points in this exercise are maintain a long torso, keep your feet planted on the floor, arm pits should be facing forward during the press portion. I like to do this exercise with no more than 60kg for sets of 4-5 reps. This is not so much a strength builder as it is more mobility and learning correct positioning in the snatch.
