Anti Statehood groups have said that a march conducted by Pro Statehood activists, didnt have the attendance claimed by the activists. Theyve said that the pictures shown were photoshopped. This video of the event clearly shows what happened. The estimates by the Anti Statehood side claims that the number of people attending was way less than 10 thousand people. The Activist estimated between 10-15 thousand. Analysis of aerial photos (that the Anti Statehood elements claim were photoshopped) shows the number of people in attendance to be closer to 20 people! Could there have been more people there, given the importance of the movement? Yes, absolutely. But the fact is that many people are tired of politics and to march in the summer heat in PR isnt easy or fun. Nonetheless, as we get closer to elections, Im sure that the number of vocal participants is sure to rise.
