Any Italian people here? Just got a new set of stories back from my writer (for a premium course). One of them contains the sentence: “Surely we just need to hire a car at the airport and drive there?” suggested Tina. “You must be joking!” said Duncan. “If you think I’m driving round those Italian hairpin bends, you’ve got another thing coming. And those Italians drive like maniacs!” ... this is a stereotype in the UK. But as an Italian, do you find this offensive/ rude?
