Any delay in the preliminary results by Afghanistan Independent Election Commission will create mistrust and lack of confidence over the election process. The nation must know who their legitimate president is. The election commission should remain neutral and above political deals. We ask them to announce the results within the fixed timeframe. Any delay will not bring Dr Abdullah Abdullah to the system. He is only buying the time to damage the democratic process. The bottom line is if he and his team is in the government everything is alright and if not then every thing is fraud. Halim Fidai
