Any of you from the old Cornelia, Ga crowd during the LBJ/Nixon administrations remember Brad Woodward class of 1970 or maybe 71? He played tuba in the South Habersham High marching band about 66-70. After no word at all from him at all for over 10 years he phoned me today out of the blue. Turns out his computer broke about 2003 and he never replaced it. Anyway after the Marine corp he did years of sailing on various boats for Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution and other research and fishing vessels based out of Beaufort NC. In between sailings he worked as a taxi driver in Morehead City NC where in 2012 his cab was rear ended and he got hurt pretty bad, leaving him disabled. He has mobility issues and cant work. Anyone who would like to get in touch with him, I have his phone number and I know hed like to hear from you about the good old days! He is not online and doesnt have a smart phone. Just send me a private message and Ill send his phone number. What a surprise that phone call was! Hes moving to a limited mobility community later this month and is pretty excited about it.
