Any piece of equipment, whether it be halti or harness type equipment, that are by their very nature designed to create discomfort when pulling, are not training tools. They are designed so you dont have to do any training, they only rely on creating discomfort for pulling. These type of equipment dont train a dog. The theory I guess, it doesnt matter how uncomfortable it is for the dog, as long as its not uncomfortable for the owner. These type of equipment dont change the behaviour or mindset of the dog, they only mask it.
