Anybody know of a word that sounds like coobiyon (maybe coubion in French?) and refers to the tail part of a bird where the tail feathers would grow? I didnt see anything like that in the dictionary. My grandfather used it though. His parents owned a restaurant when he was growing up and then he joined the Navy and became a cook and later worked several years as a restaurant manager so he could have picked that up anywhere I suppose but it sounds sort of French. Every holiday dinner when we carved the turkey he always wanted the stuff nobody else did like necks and gizzards and such. And his favorite piece was the coobiyon. I never did try it.
