Anybody remember this movie? If youve never seen it I recommend that you do...and if you already have, watch it again now that youre older. But why am I sharing this? Well...I want to try and prove tonight that everything that I shared this morning is every bit as real as God and His stories are. The bible can be trusted...I am going to try and prove over the next couple of nights. The bad in the morning and the good at night so that you might sleep well...but I want to start with Moses and his story because...I dunno I just really like this movie. For me this is a powerful scene. Especially with the music...gives me the feels. Anyway what I want you to get from this is understanding. Im going to post next a documentary about Moses and how it can be proven true today. I think we have a problem with trusting that the bible and the unbelievable stories in it are just that...not believable. Well...I want to make the case that they are. To think that they are not you are basically putting our God in a box. The only reason we dont believe...and i mean true deep down in your heart and soul believe is because we were not there in the story to see and experience it for ourselves...which is why you should watch the movie again. If you still have an imagination...or empathy...you can put yourselves in Mosess shoes. Please do.....understand what He actually had to go through...understand that he really did. Understand that only God could have made it all possible. Understand that Moses was called by God himself to do it. Understand that he...like anyone of us would not want to do what God asked him to do. But watching this clip...he didnt really have a choice did he? We are the hands and feet of Christ are we not? Are we not supposed to be the salt of the earth? In the face of all the terrible things I post are we standing in the gap knowing that God will have our back if we stand up for Him and what the things He is against? Are we salty enough to sting the slugs that are ushering in doom upon us? I will let you answer that for yourself...I believe we are all here for a reason...we all could be doing something to make this a better world but from everyones attitude we expect God to save us without having to lift a finger. What ever happened to picking up your cross daily? What does it even mean to do that? You must find that answer for yourself...and the only way to do that is to know Jesus Christ and for him to know you...a relationship ladies and gentlemen. There will be no rapture until we face what is coming upon the earth...is your faith strong enough? That right there is the reason im doing this...you must examine yourself. You must not blame God for what is about to happen...we got ourselves into this mess...free will remember? We can do the right things, the wrong things, or nothing at all...and with everything that is about to happen...what have we done the most of to deserve what will soon come crashing down on us like a ton of bricks? I will let you decide. This clip thou...is God on display. Free will is what got the hebrews taken into slavery...not God. They forgot God and their pride ruined them. Will pride ruin us? I should think slavery is a very humbling experience...they cried out to God to save them...they learned their lesson. God heard their cry and did what only He could do...and saved them. This clip shows His power, His fatherly authority, and His love...He an save us too ya know...we need only but fix our eyes back to Him...instead of a tv...more about that tomorrow.
