Anybody who says Im too serious says this for one of two reasons: (1) The majority of the time this is said by people who dont know me in real life. I share mere pieces of me on FB: Things that interest me, typically things which spark intellectual stimulation, intrigue or discussion. I dont use it as a diary or anything of that nature. Sorry, Charlie. (2) Its also been the case to a marginal degree that, of those who do know me in real life, there may still be a few who think this. And, in short, thats because I dont have that type of rapport with them where I would really show the other facets of my complexity. This is usually due to me just not vibing with them. Having said that, sure, I do have a serious side. I can definitely be serious. But Im not serious all the time. I would have likely died of cardiac arrest by now if that were the case. Its not possible to maintain sanity in this warped, contrary, mad world without a sense of humor. Or sarcasm. I prefer the latter, though I possess both. But, for those who know me, this isnt news.
