Anyone around Saturday night in Baltimore to celebrate Joe Berman at the Mt Washington Tavern for a few drinks? This is one of those moments that I wish I lived closer to be there for Jordan Berman and Joshua Berman. Your brother was always there for me when things were rough and also when things were great. When I was lost and figuring out my path, Joe joined the Marines. I was so proud of him. He thought of everyone else first. When we played baseball together in high school, Bruner made the whole team be extras in our high school production of Damn Yankees. Joe and I would sit in his car during rehearsal and psyche ourselves up by blasting Dont Stop Believin by Journey because we were kinda nervous on stage and we bonded and relaxed through the music. Joe was loved by so many. Joe Berman not only gave our country freedom by serving as a Marine but Joey gave me freedom personally when I needed it the most and needed to get away. Joe Berman ... Class, heart, soldier, father, brother, son, friend. Im sorry that i dont think Ill be there tomorrow, but i will see you Jordy and Joshy on Thursday. Ill bring some goodies from NYC that I know Joe would like. Rainbow cake and whitefish? Love you guys.
