Anyone can investigate anything. All it takes is the time, - TopicsExpress

Anyone can investigate anything. All it takes is the time, commitment, research, and an open unbiased mind. The first step in researching anything is to have no expectations into the findings. If you conduct research and presume you already know what the findings will show, then you may as well not bother. That mindset is what will influence you to discredit information or testimonies that contradict your initial assumption, and influence your overall investigation. I enjoy doing research. And I always try my best to have an open mind and realize that my views and stances are always subject to change based off the new information I come across. I also know that not everything on the Internet is true, not everything in books, or on tv is true either. Not every key witness or expert is honest or credible. Many people have lied under oath, made mistakes, or gave misinformation. Numbers can also be exaggerated, fraudulent, information withheld, etc etc. With all of that to consider, it almost seems impossible to know the truth, or ever get to it. But, if you read enough, and look at all sides and perspectives, and piece together information like a puzzle, and continuously keep an open mind about where the research could go, then youll be better off, and more credible yourself. Research and investigating isnt for everyone. Just remember when choosing which side of a story you want to support, or what expert vs independent researcher you want to believe, that there IS more than one perspective. And unless you have independently researched and removed all doubt about the other side/person, you could be supporting a liar, or defending a lie.
