Anyone have any idea what the time interval between benadryl doses is for a dog? Bella is a vaccine reactor and had a swollen face and neck, red eyes, red gums, and hives everywhere. They gave her a diphenhydramine shot a few minutes before the vaccine (rabies) and then kept her for analysis for 4 hours after the vaccine. Naturally, an hour after we got home she reacted. They advised me to do 12.5mg for her weight, but theyre closed now and Im not sure when the next safe time to give it would be, and I want to keep her dosed at least until tomorrow to be safe.
