Anyone know anything about this female DOG? She gave birth to 6 puppies at Haileys Salvage on Dickerson Rd. Does she belong to someone in that area? Does she look like any dog reported missing? I know its a long shot, and this is the only picture I have of her. Shes an approximate 40lb lab mix, skittish, and the still-nursing puppies were removed, but this lactating mama is probably still looking for them, and has been seen crossing Dickerson Rd a few times. Im told that the Puppies are safe with a rescue & placed with foster bottle feeders, and the mama can not join them at this point. For the record, I would not ever take puppies without the mama unless it really was an immediate emergency. I dont know all the info here so the good Samaritan did what she thought was best. I just dont want this dog to fall through the cracks. For now Ive named her Christmas. If anyone has a better pic or can take one of her - that would be great. There is about $250 pledged to vetting if she can be caught, but I want to rule out that she doesnt have somebody looking for her first. Email me at pdionne37@gmail. Thanks.
