Anyone know how the costs at Nolan River Animal Hospital in Cleburne compares to any other vet in the area? Our 6 1/2 year old American Bulldog, Shiloh, is epileptic and on daily meds. Hes been having Grand Mal seizures for just over 4 years now, was every two weeks before meds, and about every two months since starting the meds. Usually he seems back to his normal self after a seizure, but the older he gets, the more they seem to take a toll on him. He had one on Sunday and hasnt really bounced back yet. In fact, since yesterday, he seems very lethargic and depressed. Still eating, drinking and going potty, so thats good, but those are the ONLY times he gets up. Daddy will be home later today (over the road truck driver), and if he doesnt get all excited for daddy, then we know somethings really wrong and well need to take him in to be checked. Nolan River is where we took the dogs when we first moved here, as we needed a local vet because of his seizures and meds, but Im just wondering if theres any other good yet inexpensive vets out there. I think Nolan River charged $26 for an office visit. Thanks for any info or well wishes for Shiloh! :-)
