Anyone know why Im getting more unsteady? Changed neck bearings, re-did the forks, checked wheel balancing, varied the tyre pressures, back tyre fairly new, front in good condition (so am used to them), brakes are good. When I cross a slight ridge in the road, I get an exaggerated wobble (still small tho) - often while filtering through traffic. When I roll off of upright in a corner, I get a slight dip in the lean that has me scrambling for balance thats generally already stabilized after the dip. Once Im in the lean - at sufficient speed to require counter-steer - the back feels like it wants to slide out, but only on left corners. Maybe Im being hypersensitive, but Im paying huge attention since I noticed regular tank-slapping when decelerating past 80km (clears up by 75km). It was this that had me change the neck bearing and overhaul the forks. Guess it helps to point out that I have yet to reach 50 000km on the clock - bought it at 31000. Since I bought the FZX, only Yamaha has done any work on it, and theyre also baffled (or think Im a dodgy flake, but too professional to say it...?)
