Anyone out there a master of iPhone-to-PC memory syncs/backups? - TopicsExpress

Anyone out there a master of iPhone-to-PC memory syncs/backups? My iPhone has several hundred songs on it- twice! I dont understand why every other song is on my phone twice, or how to get rid of one copy. I regularly sync my phone to my laptop, which I believe is syncing my pictures somewhere. But I have no idea where they go. (They are also supposedly backed up to the iCloud, but I have no idea how to access that either. Not to mention, I keep getting warnings Im out of space.) My phone (which is rarely used as a telephonic device) is worthless to me if it doesnt play music and take pictures! What am I doing wrong?
