Anyone remember Channel 52??? The programing day actually started at 3:30 with Felix the cat, 4 uncle Waldo, 4:30 Kimba, 5 three stooges, 5:30 Speed Racer 6, Little Rascals 6:30 Speed racer, 7 Three stooges, 7:30 Addams Family 8 pm --travel shows, then later Hollywood Movie classics, they only broadcast in Black and white until 1970, it was amazing to see Kimba and Speed Racer in color for the first time. Later programs added during the day. during the kaiser era were giant robot, Johnny sokko,Dr. Who, Headshop, Underdog, Rocky and Bullwinle, Flash Gordon and My Little Margie and Three stooges cartoons. When Oak Broadcasting took over in 1977 it originally broadcast ON TV at night and had a daytime line up that included Mchales navy, F troop. Banana Splits, Spiderman. Kaiser sold the rights to Three Stooges and Speed Racer to KCOP 13 in 1977.
