Jon Dear Jon, I found out today that the child who was going to be my daughter (my ex-wife and I were going to adopt her) is going to be adopted by my ex- wife and her fiance. About a year ago, I was single parenting Crystal (our child who was removed from her biological home due to severe abuse and neglect). After my ex-wife and I separated, I tried to single parent Crystal. I could do it if I had to, but it was not really working out well thus not in Crystals best interest. Because I said that I could not bring up Crystal as a single parent Crystal went to live with my ex-wife and her fiance. I hardly ever get to speak to her or see her because my ex-wife says so. Crystal called me up today to tell me that on March 13th my ex will adopt her. This trumps everything else. Thus, though I am embarrassed to ask you this, I would like to go to the Treehouse as soon as I hear back from you and take the time away from the house that we all lived in together to prepare something to send off to the Judge on March 13th stating that I would like to have joint custody of Crystal and if not, visitation at the very least. Thus, I would like to go to the Treehouse first thing tomorrow a.m. and stay until maybe March 13th (unless it is better for Crystal that I am not there in person-so she does not feel pulled apart), then maybe the 17th for a total of two weeks. I hope you are ok with this and understand why I am asking you this.
