Well, heres a worthy one: having become the first person ever to have seen over 9,000 bird species, the legendary Tom Gullick is finally hanging up his bins, thereby paving the way for someone else to try and take over from where he has left off... Of course, youll need a fair bit of dosh behind you, absolutely no fear of flying, a huge lust for adventure in the wildest and most exotic places you could ever imagine, and, of course, a suitably willing partner to support you in your quest - though it might be best to remain single and rather leave the birds as your no. 1 love! On a less frivolous note, on behalf of the entire Rockjumper team, well done Tom on your remarkable and amazing achievement - we can only ever dream of accomplishing a mere fraction of what youve achieved with this incredible milestone. We wish you all the best with whatever it is that you plan to do with the rest of your life, and hope that you will derive as much joy from the ability to reflect on all the people, places and adventures that led you to this incredible accomplishment, as you did from actually doing it! :)
