Anyone use a truck to haul their Hobie? Just trying to figure out how I will transport the Hobie Pro Angler 14 when I do pick it up next Spring or so. I currently drive a Tacoma Double Cab with the long box (6). I was thinking getting a rack for the bed so I can roof carry the Hobie, but was thinking that might be too heavy for when Im by myself. Then I thought about getting the extended that connects to the hitch and put the Hobie in the bed of the truck. But I want to travel from Midwest to East Coast to West Coast next year with it. Any Hobie guys here have any tips they can give? Im trying to stay away from getting a trailer. TIA.
