Anyone who is thinking of voting for Scott Brown, think about - TopicsExpress

Anyone who is thinking of voting for Scott Brown, think about this: He is banking on the idea that Obama is unpopular - but remember that Brown represents the problem in Washington - Republicans who have made it a point to do absolutely nothing. This Congress, with the Tea-party driven deadlock is the least-productive congress in history. They have done less work than any other congress - the fewest pieces of legislation passed in history (meaning laws either enacted or repealed), and have spent more time in recess - far more than the President they complain about. This congress was in session for a total of 942 HOURS in 2013 - giving them about a 28-hour work week. So why the gridlock? Its because the Republican Party isnt the Republican Party anymore - its a group of factions fighting among themselves - and doing what they can to remain relevant. Youve got traditional Republicans that are becoming increasingly irrelevant, the Tea Party, and more independent Libertarians all fighting for control. Among them is one common theme - a fantasy that Democrats want to take your guns - and the stream of racism and anti LGBT bigotry that is endemic to some parts of the factions that make up Republicanism. Listen to what the Tea-party sponsored carpet-bagger has to say - there is nothing of substance. His entire campaign is that Shaheen is a Democrat, and beating her will make Obama and Harry Reid mad.Oh, yeah, and he wants to repeal Obamacare. In short, hes saying Send me to Washington and well get even more nothing done. Jeanne Shaheen has worked for New Hampshire - shes one of the few members of Congress that is actually doing something. If youre trying to fix something, you dont get it done by getting rid of what actually works and replacing it with more of whats been causing the problem. If his best argument is vote for me, Ill make Reid and Obama mad, hes not fighting for New Hampshire - hes fighting for the Tea Party and for his own ego. And thats why hes not answering any questions about what hell actually DO. Thats why he dodges questions about immigration, its why he dodged questions about medicaid expansion. We cant afford stagnation. Its time to move forward - and thats not going to happen if we dig the pit even deeper.
