Anyone who says this is a terrible trade I can no longer look at you as a sports fan. Stop being homers! yes. We get it. You like Lester..but a bunch of you dummies were saying he was a big part of the Chicken and beer year. Stop being hypocrites. He wanted a Huge Contract and there was a good chance he would end up wearing a different uniform next year, And we wouldnt get anything in return. We traded him for a potential Super Star. Cespedes could hit 30/40 hr in Fenway. Not to mention our outfield is going to be unbelievable in the near future. Yes we lost a proven winning starting pitcher which is Hard to find. But when the dust clears and you look at it closely. Its win win. Lester gets a chance at another ring. We get a Huge upgrade in the outfield, and still have a chance to resign Lester. Stop the nonsense. You dont have to tell people its a terrible trade to prove Youre a Boston fan. Its Ok.
