Anyone whos ever had the flu knows that its no picnic, so why would anyone ever agree to have it deliberately shot into their bodies? How about for some cold hard cash? Government scientists are paying 100 volunteers $3000 each to have the flu virus shot up their noses. These medical guinea pigs will be helping researchers figure out how to come up with more effective vaccines. Its a lot of money, but is it really worth pumping a potentially deadly virus into your body? Well, the volunteers are only getting a mild-to-moderately severe strain of it. Also, for safety, only volunteers who are healthy and under 50 are allowed to participate. Also, once infected, the volunteers must be quarantined in a hospital for nine days and wont be released until they are no longer contagious. (Fox News) So would you do this??
