Anytime you make a proposal to the court to bring your Chapter 13 case current, you must do what you say you are going to do or your case can be dismissed. So double check your figures before making the decision and never make a spur of the moment proposal. If something happens to interfere with the completion of this proposal immediately update your attorney with all the facts as to why are you not complying. If you cannot reach your attorney, contact the trustee in your case and/or the court. Dont wait until your case is dismissed before you act.
