Apathy will get us nowhere (Parent): "Dear parents and community members: If you are one of the thousands of people who are disgusted with the direction of the DCSD school board and the DCSD upper level administration, I have a question for you to ponder. What are you doing to ensure that four new board members are elected in November – four people who support public education, our kids, and our community? If your answer to this question is “nothing,” I urge you to get involved. It’s not enough to bellyache about what’s going on. Get involved. If things do not change in November, and you have not taken action, then you have to accept part of the blame. We cannot allow these “reformers” to continue on this dangerous road. Please be part of the solution."
