Apologies for the lack of updates....very long work day. Anyways, here are the two stories going on: First, we are under a Severe Thunderstorm watch until 10pm tonight. Same scenario as yesterday with the main threats being heavy rain, gusty winds, and some hail. Then, theres Hurricane Arthur. Arthur has taken a more westward track and currently is a Cat. 1 with winds of 90mph, and pressure at 977mb just off the NC coast. Next advisory is coming very shortly and wouldnt be surprised to see more strengthening. The worst will pass off to the south, but Arthur will interact with the cold front and produce some decent rainfall totals. 1-3 is likely, with higher amounts points east and south closest to Arthur. The Cape is under a Tropical Storm warning for that reason. Stay tuned for more updates.
