Apparently I am the only one not freaking out about Ben Affleck being Batman. Heath Ledger and Michael Keaton sent everyone to their fainting couches when they were cast in Batman films as well. Would I feel better if Christopher Nolan were involved? Of course. Was I hoping for Jon Hamm from Mad Men to get the part? Yes. But Affleck has been really solid in The Town and Argo and I think maybe he can surprise us all. And if they cast Bryan Cranston as Lex Luther, things could get interesting.
