Apparently many local residents are upset because of plans to film a reality TV show in town called The Island. From what I gather, it is a knock off of Jersey Shore. I never watched any of Jersey Shore, but from what I have seen, Im not interested. People are afraid they will trash the town, and bring too much attention here. It is nice and peaceful as it is, so I tend to agree. Just dont mess with my fishing.
