Apparently somebody really wanted to come in my apartment building at 3:30am last night and bypassed their inability to open the door by throwing a rock the size of my head through the first floor landing window. Glad they didnt pick one window over, or it would be in my living room. As far as I can tell, they then tried to climb in but failed (first floor window is about 15 feet off the ground - it was totally doable, guess they just suck at climbing) and vacated the area before the cops showed up. I am a big fat commie libtard in most of my politics, but this (plus many years living in Baltimore) is a very good example of why I am totally for the right to gun ownership. Its real easy to accuse gun owners of being paranoid fetishists until its the middle of the night and youre not sure the locked door of the place you live is going to be enough to keep a total stranger out.
