Apparently, the rethuglican trolls are out in force on Facebook. Its to be expected with an election coming up. I do not object to rational discussions of any issue. But as I have repeatedly said, I have no patience for: 1) any msg with a variation of you lefties or the word libtard. 2) any msg that indicates the poster is owed a refund from his high school. 3) any msg where the poster, regardless of his/her intelligence has failed to do his/her research. 4) any msg which cherry picks the facts. 5) any msg which rewrites or denies the evidence of history. 6) rudeness in general. (First rule of discussion: Discuss the issue, not personalities. This is because everyone has issues, not everyone has a personality.) Im an old man, Im gonna die soon, I have a right to be cranky. Life is too short to argue with idiots. (Ill let younger people do that.) Msgs that violate the above will disappear as soon as I see them. People who insist on parading their assholiness will find out how the big red lever works. (You have free speech, you are not free from consequences. I am not obligated to hand you my microphone.) My previous policy was to consider a block as a temporary thing -- a timeout. But some people have earned permanent exile, so that is not off the table. Am I in a pissy mood? Yes. Thats normal for me. And to make matters worse, tomorrow is a Monday.
