Appeal To All Buhari-OsinbajoSupporters By Dr. Nura Alkali. I shared this message before, but it is even more important now that February 14 is closer, and PDP has a war chest of 21.3 billion Naira. Depending on our means, we can donate anything from 100 Naira to the Buhari-Osinbajocampaign Fund, also called BSO, either through purchase of a Buhari scratch card, or by paying into the BSO account at First Bank (Acc. No: 2026724405). BSO has realized 54.5 million Naira so far, according to Buhari. But just imagine if 1 million of us will donate 1,000 Naira each, and another 100,000 will donate 10,000 Naira each. That will total 2 billion Naira. While it isnt much compared to PDPs 21 billion, let us see how far it can go: Buhari could use 600 million Naira to pay 5,000 Naira allowance to 120,000 APC agents who will monitor the Presidential elections at 120,000 polling units across Nigeria. Even if APC governors will help in their states, we must still reckon with non-APC states, where the more agents we have per polling unit, the less someone will rig us out. Buhari could use 400 million Naira for radio, TV and newspaper adverts. Billboards do not come cheap. If 10,000 standard billboards cost only 50K apiece (13 per LGA), that would be another 500 million Naira plus extra to guard against vandalism by PDP thugs. The balance of 500 million Naira can supplement the costs of logistics at Buhari rallies in 36 states and the FCT, which would involve transporting large crowds by air and on land, purchase of campaign vehicles, hotel rents and feeding, media coverage, and local security arrangements. So, let us donate to the Buhari Support Organization to help change Nigeria.
