Appeal from an anonymous contributor- A couple of weeks ago my elderly father was crossing the road when he nearly got knocked into the next town by a speeding red car driven by a women who was on her mobile phone. Himself and 2 witnesses insist he looked both ways to see that the road was clear, and that the red car was going at a ridiculous speed. My father was missed by barely centimetres and suffered delayed shock shortly afterwards. All he can remember was the car was red and the end of the registration plate was CYC. He also later found out that the female driver works for A Cabs Abergavenny. Later that day he spotted her outside tescos where she became very aggressive towards him and shouted and swore at him in front of a young child who was also in the car. He cant take this further without the full registration plate but he was in no condition to memorise it at the time. This woman was driving at ridiculous speeds, whilst on her mobile with a child in the car. The witnesses said she was going fast enough to potentially kill my father if she hit him. Does anyone know her name/what car she drives? We need the full registration to take this further with the police and get her prosecuted.
