DONT ASK WHAT YOU COUNTRY WILL DO FOR YOU... BUT ASK YOURSLEF WHAT YOU COULD DO FOR YOUR COUNTRY !!! It is customary within the Holy Month of Ramadan for Muslims, to prepare meals and offer them to the poor. It is of paramount importance however, that the quality of the offered food MUST be the same as the one that the OFFERER is eating with his own family and not of a lesser quality. It is also customary to invite friends and family for the EFTAR (breaking the fast after a daylong of consuming absolutely nothing). Within these lines H.E. The President of Egypt Mr. Sisi invited the countrys FIFTY top businessmen two days ago on EFTAR and urged them to participate in rebuilding OUR BELOVED EGYPT. The heads of El Azhar Dr. Ahmed El Tayeb and The Coptic Church Pope Theodore as TRUSTEES & ADMINISTRATORS took the initiative in forming a donations fund aiming at rebuilding Egypt. Participating within this fund are also representatives from Egyptian ministries and associations. Five of the top Egyptian businessmen are also on the board of trustees for this fund. During the meal top Egyptian businessmen donated with abundance for the total amount to exceed the 5 billion Egyptian pounds or half a billion Euros!! Below picture shows some of these donations. The President vowed to follow a LIBERAL AND OPEN ECONOMY POLICY based on the doctrines of SUPPLY AND DEMAND and FREE COMPETITION but also reassured investors that he will work with his government to secure FREE TRADE, OPEN OPPORTUNITIES FOR ALL without PREJUDICE and above all guaranteed the JUDICIARY INDEPENDENCE in safeguarding the investors rights. President Sisi then urged the Egyptian investors to assist him in the rebuilding of the Egyptian economy and they agreed to further invest vigorously within the coming months. Among the urgent projects needed to support the development of the Egyptian economy are a 3,500 km motorways & city roads with a cost of 35 Bil Egyptian pounds (3,5 Bil Euros) which will ease congestion and assist in the speedy movement of products and services. The cultivation of 1,000,000 fedans (One fedan is 4,200 sqm) within the dessert at the cost of 50 Bil Egyptian pounds (3,5 Bil Euros) which will further supply the Egyptian people with fresh quality produce aiming to reach self sufficiency but also export its surplus attracting much need foreign currency into the country. The Sahara sand (SILICA SAND) is a very valuable commodity used in many industries and is in great demand from the western world. The President agreed to negotiate with the business community means of business developing this lucrative EGYPTIAN natural resource. Green energy projects are also on the map especially solar power so to ease the pressure on the huge demand for energy by the ultra hungry Egyptian industry and most importantly to cater for the mega demand by the Egyptian household.
