Appeasing can only postpone a solution while the problem gets worse. Confrontation is a no brainer - any one could - unready to handle the explosive fall out. Ignoring festers the sore. Criticism with others is like spreading the infection. Compromise on one side will continue to breed injustice which on the long term is creating a monster. Mediation attempts to derive the residual good in antagonists for a just & equitable solution. On the cross in providing a solution to man’s intransigence, Jesus paid it all because residual good in us was negligible & inflated.
