Apple is a big mushy meatball. She wants to play, and has A TON of pent up energy. She is strong and proud, but goofy and silly (note my drool covered shirt- I was licked to death) She is a Bulldog/American Pitbull Terrier mix.... and is just beautiful. She is at The Town of Brookhaven Animal Shelter. She is SMART and responds to training well, but it is so hard for her to focus because she wants to run around and blow off steam. She needs to get out of the shelter and get adjusted back to living in a home before I am willing to say she does not like other dogs. I say that because she is just like my Toby.... right down to the meatball. She is so overly excited, she makes other dogs nervous. She does not growl... she makes gorilla noises and cries.... I can get her to sit and stay when another dog approaches, and she does not make a peep. She wags he... Once she is out of the shelter, I will work with her.... Toby is now fully intergrated in to our pack at home, and is calm when he meets dogs in public. It took 2 months to get him there.... life in a cage is no life at all for these big bully mixes, they have too much energy and love to give to be stuck in a cage all day.
