Experience: 4 years Duties & Responsibilities: • Responsible for development of research methodology including sample size, coverage, draft questionnaire and research tools; • Ensure that research methodology is developed based on cultural norms and traditions of Afghanistan; • Collect information from relevant governmental and non-governmental organizations; • Conduct desk review of all required relevant materials; • Arrange and attend meetings with relevant government and non-governmental organizations together with international researcher; • Develop drafts of questionnaires and ensure sharing and inducting comments from different government partners, other relevant stakeholders to ensure inclusion of their comments and suggestions; • Arrange meetings with government officials, relevant partners and donor organizations to have their opinion on the research topic; • Conduct the research in the center and targeted provinces based on the initial research plan and ensure proper reporting of the field visits including FGDs and KII to International researcher; • Ensure smooth and accurate data collection process and ensure error checking and revisiting the sites, when and where necessary; • Together with International expert prepare the final draft report and share it with different government counterparts and relevant stakeholders; • Collect all feedbacks and incorporate the necessary, relevant and required comments into report; • Finalize the report; • Follow up with translators for quality and on time translation of the report; • Proof read the report translation to ensure accuracy; • Follow up with designing the layout of the report in three languages; • Follow up with printing; • Submit the finalized report to Program Manager with all other supporting documents. Qualifications: • At least have a bachelors degree in economics, public administration, BBA, social sciences or any other related field. • Have commitment and dedication for the work. • Have 4 years of research or related field experience in Afghanistan. • Good report writing skills. • Previous experience of working with Afghan community and willing to travel to provinces for conducting research and data collection. • Able to communicate and write fluently in Pashto, Dari and English.
