Appreciate all the concern for last night. We use electric space heaters, the furnace went out a decade or more ago. I just bought two butane powered burners for cooking, Ive used these before on the road and they are electric start, produce vast amounts of heat, excellent. $22 each plus $5.99 for four-pack of fuel. Thats a lot of cooking. Theres also the microwave and electric skillets/stuff. Well get through, just need to teach her how to start the two new burners. (BTW - theyre for sale at Lee-Lees on La Cholla and Orange Grove). If you need an extra burner or want to go camping, these are the single best ones on the market. Chinese made, Taiwan I think. Called SW Gas this morning, their engineering department will be out in two days and it will 3-7 days after that. I wasnt going to initiate a call, but since their supervisor called me from the nursing agency. First they call me, then make me wait for several minutes while a supervisor gets on the line... I told her exactly what happened and said I specifically asked her to let me handle this. What right did she have to do this? To put us in a third-world existence like this? We have every right! I told them never to come again, to leave us in peace, and never step foot on our property. I will never trust one of these people again, EVER. Im so sorry ... sorry doesnt undo this level of damage. Ill make arrangements later with another service and Ill haul her over there. Ill never allow one of them to step foot in our house again if they think they have free reign to do this kind of stuff. Stay away from Geneva Home Health. Far, far away.
