Approaching life with a nonchalant attitude may be easier on the spur of the moment but the repercussions of indifference and apathy are not easy to have to live with later. Often the results of approaching life’s decisions with relaxed, ungodly, undisciplined, and carefree attitudes are irreparable and cost you more than you thought you’d have to pay in the end. God knows that we need answers to apply to everything that pertains to life and godliness. That is what God’s Word does for us; it is our life’s manual, our instruction book directly from our Manufacturer/Creator. Proverbs 8:32 “And now, O sons, listen to me: blessed are those who keep my ways.” Learn and obey the Word of God, draw near to the Lord in fervent prayer, and redeem the time that you have following His will for you. “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof [rebuke], for correction [restoration], and for training [direction] in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent [capable], equipped [enabled] for every good work” (2 Tim. 3:16-17).
