Approximately 200 people were evacuated from the Doubletree Hotel after a fire in a 6th floor room. The fire was controlled by a sprinkler and confined to one room. Thankfully no one was injured by the fire or while evacuating. The blistered paint shows how hot it was in the room. TFD investigators are working to determine the cause and the Doubletree is assisting the guests that have been temporarily displaced due to the smoke.
