For I became your father in Christ Jesus when I preached the Good news to you. One thing that is crucial in your walk with the Lord this year is to be under authority. It is not good to be a lone-ranger without having anyone to watch over your life and give you wise counsel. Paul had to assert his fatherly status to the Corinthian church because they were straying. We all have straying tendencies but God uses fathers to correct and to guide us back to the right path. Without a spiritual father, you may not see further and youll lack the feather to fly in destiny. Even Jesus our Lord looked up to his heavenly father. Dont be a spiritual bastard. ACTION: Prayerfully submit yourself under a leader with depth, integrity&keen sensitivity to the Holy Spirit. It helps.
