Once they become available I will update, we don’t anticipate either runner to be below $2.5 Hawkesbury R1 #4 Elusive Runner $13 – got home nicely after being slowly away first up. Doesn’t have to be a star to beat this lot and with natural improvement between runs and a nice long run home we are hoping he finishes best R2 #10 Ship Harbour $3.6 – Darley runner resuming today whose form last time in equates to winning this. Money stable so needs to be a push for it come close to race time. Rockhampton R1 #2 Christmas Island $3.7 – you wouldn’t want to own any of these beasts contesting this race, however we feel that the race will pan out extremely well for our tip. Jockey needs to withdraw from any pace battle and come with one run. Our confidence levels of running past the field if that occurs is relatively high. R3 #10 – Sea Crest $11 – first up but races well fresh and should lob into a nice position from the gate. The majority of the jockeys up in North QLD are cowboys/girls so we are hoping they go helter skelter early (all bookie fancies drawn wide) allowing us to use the long straight to power past them.
