It has been a busy week... a very busy week. My morning schedule today is clear enough that I have some time just to pray and reflect for a moment. In the midst of my musings a question floated to the surface: What are you devoted to? Some people are devoted to sports (football season is coming...), others to their art or music, still others to education, and others to just living life and having fun (YOLO). Many people will spend much of their time in pursuit of these and other things. Countless hours will be dedicated to them in the course of a lifetime. How many of the things we can devote ourselves to hold any promise of eternal signficance? Only one... Christ. Everything else will be gone in the end. Be careful what you choose to devote yourself to.
