April 1st is definitely a day that is meant to be extra special to us, and of the last 3 years, tonight might be the most poignant of those... 4/1/11 - the day we found out we were pregnant with our first child! 4/1/12 - Mary Catherines baptism into the Catholic Church 4/1/13 - We lay in a room at the Ronald McDonald house in Dallas, TX, terrified of what the next day would bring (Mary Cates first cranial reconstruction surgery) 4/1/14 - as I put Mare to sleep tonight, for the first time she told me I LOVE YOU (using her sign language - pointing to her eyes, then crossing her arms at her chest, then pointing to me and saying uuuuu) As you can imagine…I am a sobbing mess, and so so so incredibly proud of this little lady…my heart is overflowing with love
