April 21,2014 Monday within the Octave of Easter Lord Jesus Christ, as I ponder on today’s Gospel, open my eyes to reflect on the contrast between a revealed Truth of faith and the deception of a blatant lie . Grant that Your message that says “Do not be afraid” and “spread the Good News” may sink more deeply into my heart as You bestow upon me the joyful eagerness to spread the faith and fill me with the peace that only You can give. Awaken in me the reality of Your resurrection which gives me fresh hope of being raised one day to rejoice with You forever in heaven. Teach me to be faithful to You as I accomplish the mission of spreading the Good News of Your resurrection which has been entrusted to us all. May this Easter celebration bring me to grow and mature in faith and prayer so that I may never lose sight of it’s Truth in my life. Amen Based on today’s Gospel: Matthew 28:8-15
