April fools conundrum.... I could go left or right. I could go get drunk and high on everything I could get my hands on... Tie princess to a sign near the on ramp on I-80 and tape the the end is near sign to her collar, get on the bike and do 180 til the road block sends me flying through the beautiful scenery of arches national park at a heart pounding song like meatloaf - I would do anything for love playing in my helmet. While my house simultaneously burns to the ground hundreds of miles away.... Or I could go left and continue doing what obviously isnt working. Or, or, I could for the right thing. Anyone really really know the right thing? I mean we are all faced with doing the right thing every day. I gave two options . Left and right... What was my right thing? A guy named Nick that I met through my dads second rehab bought me a case of Petes wicked ale when I was 13, the first time if ever met him. He saw my dad passed out on the living room floor with a machine gun in hand and said to me... Lets go get a drink bought the wicked ale and a few beers in said something profound. heroin and fame and infamy, its all the same, you feel good while youre doing it. What else is there in a life avoiding what we dont want to feel? People are priceless and their words can guide even the most lost person to a pool filled with razor blades and salt holding a gallon of morphine at the bottom.
