Apropos of todays game versus Army -- we take you back to the early 70s, when The Cardinal traveled to West Point to take on the Black Knights. Our dear friend, Fred Hargadon, accompanied the team and was invited to review the troops prior to the game. Dean Freds opposite number at Harvard was also in attendance, and could not resist the observation he sent on after the game -- that it was good to see Fred standing at attention with the Generals -- too bad his suit was at-ease. For those coming to the reunion -- try to stay on through Sunday morning for a memorial to our departed friend, Dean Fred -- without whom many of us would never have met.
