Company Aqaba Container Terminal (ACT) is located along the coastline of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. ACT is Jordans only container terminal and therefore plays a vital part in the countrys economy and acts as a critical gateway for container transport to the wider region. The facility completed a significant expansion project to cater for the future growth. Aqaba Container Terminal (Pvt.) Company is a joint venture terminal between the Aqaba Development Corporation and APM Terminals. Position Summary Supervises a yard / quay and gate activities ; ensuring subordinates perform their jobs efficiently, safely, and timely, Resolves problems in within operations and assure all equipments are working according to the Plans. Knowledge and Skills: >Time management, planning & organizational skills. >Verbal and written communications skills in English. >Proven interpersonal skills. >Use a desktop computer with MS Office and applications associated software. >Leadership Skills. >Knowledge of terminal operations, including truck delivery and pick-up procedures and documentation. Education and Experience; >Education: Minimum BC degree in Engineering (preferable Industrial engineer) or Marine, or Logistic, Business Administration. >Requires at least Two years working in felid.
