Are Tinubu and Buhari under spell ? I have shilly-shallied enough time hoofing around like a scavenger nearly every thread to digest quickly critical analysis of gaffe credited to prominent APC leaders but I hardly found one. Great to the sound thought of my Elder Dapo Rotifa, he came down heavily on the national leader of the party, Tinubus statement of insensivity against the Yoruba obas amidst hate of his co-travellers on his thread. The most annoying one is the piece credited to Buhari rallying round support for the deadliest scourge of Boko Haram insurgence against FG clamdown of its members. He even went to some extent of comparing the activities of Boko Haram with that of Niger Delta militancy. Dont get me wrong both should be condemned in strong terms. I dilly-dallied in wondering where Buhari was when the FG was inviting the Boko boys for amnesty but refused bluntly to honour it. What about peace effort? Now he is making a case for the most dreadful group who delightfully shed innocent blood without a second thought. One would even think that at this crucial period of time and the possibility of defeat and the ignoble demands of Boko Haram insurgence, a national leader of Buharis status would galvanise us into collective action and clamdown of the evil deed of Boko Haram. Shakespeare once said in one of his writings; never play with the feelings of others, because you may win the game but the risk is that you will surely lose the person for life time. I hope the thought of APC national leaders would not wreck havoc on the integrity of the party in the forth-coming elections.
